YOUR CAREER AS AN ELITE ATHLETE FULLY MANAGED.

Initiation Stage

Level
At a young age, you are involved in activities across a variety of sports. You start to explore your talent and interest in one discipline slowly.

Support
Your family, friends, peers, club and associations support you in your sporting achievements. Your club is one of the most important supporters.

Brand
Your independent brand does not yet exist. All that counts is you as a personality. The important thing is that you enjoy the sport.

Publicity
You are hardly reported on in the media, or not at all. Social media is a good start to increase your reach. There are fans in your club.

1. MILESTONE

You’re no longer a junior and climb to the next level. For your sporting achievements to be registered, professional support is crucial. Working with professional management is the only way sponsors, and the media will become aware of you and expand your fan community.

DEVELOPMENT STAGE

Level
You start to set sport-specific goals and follow a well-structured training plan. You are put up for the national squad and the conclusion of a professional contract is imminent.

Support
Your family, friends, club and associations support you in your sporting achievements. You may also receive support from Sporthilfe.

Brand
With your first sporting successes come the first thoughts about brand building and brand management. But your personality still comes first.

Publicity
From a few appearances on local news to national platforms. Your social channels are growing. You already have a few fans outside your regional reach.

2. MILESTONE

You are close to or still moving up to your league’s highest level. It would help if you urgently had professional support in media work, marketing and sponsor management so that your appearance keeps up with your sporting achievements and can be monetized.

MASTERY STAGE

Level
In the mastery phase, you become an elite athlete. During this phase, you’re very focused and feel responsible for your performance both in training and in competition.

Support
Besides family, carers and other caregivers, more and more professionals, like PR or marketing, care about your career and your brand.

Brand
Your brand evolves and becomes more professional. The brand also separates more and more from your personality.

Publicity
Your reach in the media and on social media is now national and you are occasionally reported as a young talent. Your fan base is growing steadily.

CONTINUATION STAGE

Level
Your commitment is at a professional level. In this phase, you reach all your sporting goals. Sport is your profession, there is little room for anything else.

Support
Your management consists exclusively of professional people such as coaches, caregivers, PR, marketing, legal and finance.

Brand
Your brand is independent of your personality and is now known worldwide and contributes a significant part of your income.

Publicity
Your reach in the media and in the social channels has reached an all-time high. The reach grows with each success and remains stable through good management.

DISCONTINUATION STAGE

Level
During this stage, you stop competing at a high level. You may continue the sports for recreational purposes; however, transition into a career beyond this field.

Support
Your management is still professionally run, but has a clear focus on increasing the value of your brand and other new projects.

Brand
Your brand is established worldwide. It is your primary source of income and is now independent of your sporting performance.

Publicity
Your reach in the media and social channels remains at a high international level. However, professional management is key.
